A bit o’ what Commander Dave would call a Cheese Sandwich post today – just a slice of life. 
Today’s task is to purchase and install a new ceiling fan to replace the one that broke last night. The darn thing had been threatening me for long enough and I finally bumped it and it attacked. It missed me when it fell, fortunately, but broke anyway.
So after breakfast this morning we went to Lowe’s and Home Depot checking out the selection. I’ve got the old one completely down, and am taking a short break for lunch and the Italy/Germany futbal game before I get back to work.
And then fireworks at Wills Park tonight, of course. Happy Independence Day.
