No Fear

“So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself — nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance.”
Franklin Delano Roosevelt [March 4, 1933]

“Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”
Matthew 10:28-31

Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre

Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre

May 10, 2008: Workers are putting the finishing touches on the brand-new Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Alpharetta Georgia as performers are rehearsing for the opening night concert.

I didn’t think about this early enough, as I was busy getting pictures of the kids; looking back I would have liked to have gotten the images that were needed for this panorama earlier in the day while the full rehearsal was in progress. On stage in this image are members of the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, also rehearsing during this day and performing together in the opening-night concert were the Milton and Alpharetta High School bands along with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus.
