Look Ma - No Hands!

No Fear

“So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself — nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance.”
Franklin Delano Roosevelt [March 4, 1933]

“Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”
Matthew 10:28-31

  1. Faith is a good thing. It’s the fortifying part that I struggle with. The battles are fun, it’s the drills that nobody wants to stick with.

If you are looking to network, I’d be glad to get coffee with you sometime to see if I may be able to help you out. I don’t know of anything right now, but you never know what will come up.

  2. I like how Andy Stanley defined faith a few weeks back in one of his sermons. He said Faith is the confidence that God is who he says he is, and he will do what he says he will do.

I think I can have that confidence. But I can really relate to the struggle of provisions after being laid-off too. You’re in our prayers.
