We were in Louisville KY this past weekend for a marching band competition, but that got rained out (to put it mildly). The bands’ performances were to have been in the UofL Statdium, but got moved to a smaller, indoor, venue. During a short break in the weather, my wife and I did a little sightseeing including a short walkabout in Churchill Downs.
The architecture is beautiful an interesting even when completely empty of people (and horses).
