Syndication
If you’re not familiar with “Web Syndication” yet, don’t worry. Also referred to as “RSS Feeds,” “news feeds” and other names, they’re a great way to stay up-to-date with news, articles and opinions that you find interesting.
To use news feeds, you’ll want to download a newsreader (also called a news aggregator) application like Google Reader (online, using any browser), NetNewsWire (Macintosh), SharpReader (Windows), or FeedDemon (Windows). Then, copy and paste the URL of the news feed into the application’s “subscribe” dialogue.
You an normally find that URL on frequently-updated websites by looking for one of these icons:
